Marc van der Ham

I joined Marietje’s team in January 2011. I assist Marietje in her activities in the Committees on Foreign Affairs (AFET),  International Trade (INTA) and the parliamentary delegations she is on. Before moving to Brussels I practiced competition and energy law at Stek Lawyers in Amsterdam. After finishing my thesis I worked at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs on risks- and threat analysis. In 2008 I finished my masters European Law and Theory and Philosophy of Law at Leiden University. In my free time I like sports, music and film. Every year I try to make a long backpacking trip, last year I went to China.

Melle van Dijk

In June 2012 I moved from Amsterdam to Brussels. I assist her in her work for the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT).

Previously I studied international relations and Italian language and culture in bothAmsterdam andRome. During my studies I was also involved in several organizations that sought to promote public debate amongst students and youths. Having spent considerable time abroad, I feel right at home in the international atmosphere ofBrussels.

After work I enjoy playing soccer in the local Dutch team, going to concerts and I try to go back to my home away from home: Rome.
